Using vinyl for privacy
18 August, 2020

Vinyl is a very effective way to cover windows and doors – allowing for privacy, yet still allowing light to filter in. A digitally printed image on vinyl adds a softness instead of using frosted vinyl.

It is an effective way to promote your brand and corporate identity by printing your logo on vinyl and installing on glass doors and windows.

For these meeting rooms for a company of Wealth Managers, we printed images of trees on a clear vinyl allowing visibility and some privacy.

This client’s home office in Morningside had two glass sliding doors which opened up to the pyjama lounge. The client wanted something colourful and fun so a graffiti image was selected and was digitally printed on white vinyl which provided total privacy.

This house had a double glass door separating the bedroom from the bathroom. Our client wanted a feminine image to block out visibility into the bathroom and add an artistic element to the bedroom. We used this beautiful image of Jeannie Patchett taken in the late fifties and the result was elegant and beautiful.

After 18 years in the IT industry, Doreen decided to surround herself on a daily basis by photography that she loves which led to the establishment of The Cow Artworks in 2004. In March 2006 she opened the gallery in Parkhurst and has thrived in this beautiful space. Her passion for travel affords her the opportunity to take photographs, particularly candid shots of street scenes, graffiti and architecture.
