Sr John Betjeman

St Pancras station opened in 1868 and is one of the wonders of Victorian engineering. The station is regarded as a masterpiece of Victorian Gothic architecture and one of the most elegant stations of the world. The statue of the poet Sir John Betjeman, who lead a campaign to save St Pancras Station in London in the 1960’s. The sculpture is 8.5 ft tall and was designed by Marting Jennings.
