… and not photography this time.

The Cow Artworks opened its gallery doors in Parkhurst in March 2006 and have specialized predominantly in black and white photography so it is not surprising that many of our blogs and posts feature photography.

Over the last year or two we have introduced some fun prints which are in colour – think The New Yorker, Vogue magazine covers and funky Picasso and Basquiat which are not photography and of course, our new Keith Haring images. These coloured images have been featured in our social media prints and newsletters to show you how these can create a classy and relaxed look in your home or office.

Today we want to show you how you can go the monochrome look with black and white – and not photographic images.

These Picasso line drawings create a very classy look on a bedroom wall and is restful on the eye.

We have framed this selection of images by various artists in thin natural frames and we love how they are grouped together to form its own story. These will look equally striking in think black frames in a study or office.

Nurseries and children’s bedrooms also work well with black and white art, making it slightly sophisticated.
